That is a huge amount to pay down by the end of the year but I don’t doubt that it can be done, especially if a person wants it bad enough, which it sounds like you do! I can definately relate to your feeling of just wanting to be done paying on it, I love my car too but paying on it every single week is getting old! I bought a brand new VW GTI in 2007, and although I love my car, I’m sick of making payments on it. I’ve set my goal for the end of the year, so I’ve got about 6 weeks longer than you, but my current balance is $12,398.96. Still, I’ve been saving money for a while now, and I think I can do it.

It is going to be a huge challenge & will require a lot of discipline but I did the math this morning and the numbers work out very close if I don’t waste a dime and apply everything directly towards the debt. I can see the finishline, it is close & it will keep me motivated. I just have to remember that it is 6 weeks of sacrifice and then it is finished! YAY!
